Jared and Abby Taman are the beating heart of Yard Craft – a locally owned, family business.

Owner and founder, Jared Taman, started his dream as a young man offering mowing services to neighbors before he was even able to drive a car. Later, with 10+ years of experience under his belt, the business grew and flourished under the core values that he established in those early years. Jared believed that exceptional customer service and caring for his neighbor was at the core of his success. Simply put, Yard Craft customers are more than just customers, they’re friends, neighbors and family.

Q&A

How did you get your start? Jared: As a young boy I was always chewing over business ideas. I learned young that I have a talent for landscape design and customer service in a world where customer service is headed in the wrong direction. The business grew organically and Yard Craft was born from it.

What is the most common mistake that people make in their yard designs? Jared: A common mistake clients make when planting new plantings is placing them too close to their home. Always take into consideration the full size of the species of tree or shrub when planting near your home. This protects your home from unwanted damage.

Why landscape design and maintenance? Abby: Simply put, we do it for the people, we have great clients. There is nothing more gratifying than facilitating a dream yard for our landscaping clients, or the ongoing relationship we get from our maintenance clients.

Fun Facts

Jared rode a bicycle across the country from California to Florida alone at the age of 18.

Abby graduated from Flagler College with a degree in public relations, and is currently working on their biggest accomplishment yet, growing their family.
